Welcome!

My name is Kelly Doucet.  I am a former Elementary Education teacher.  One of the greatest joys of teaching was exposing students to various types of literature. Even as an adult, I am fascinated with the "children's" section of a bookstore. I can sit for hours and flip through picture books. 

 It has always been a goal of mine to create my own children's book. I began that process over a year ago and here I am! This journey of becoming a self-publishing author has been extremely rewarding. I started with blank pages and funny moments with Henry. Those moments were organized into this story. It is a dream come true to be able to share it with you. 

I was also inspired to write this book because I love humor.  I love to make others laugh, especially children. Henry brings so much joy and laughter throughout my day. I wanted to share those moments with others. I also wanted to be able to share Henry with others.
